In a surprising partnership that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome changes echo through the obscurity." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine group.
The questline centers on "strange trials and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a striking scene showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Extra Features
Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an unique katana alongside multiple artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
