What makes this segment remains memorable
Fans of Avatar warmly cherish this episode, which served as a summary of the hero Aang and his companions' quest before the series' finale. In the episode, the main characters view a theatrical performance based on their exploits in a theater located on Ember Island, named The Boy in the Iceberg. The play itself is wildly exaggerated, over-the-top, and completely amusing. It excels since it plays with the heroes' understanding of themselves, contrasting them compared to how society (and especially the Fire Nation) perceives them. It contains an ideal level of introspective humor, and it ends up arguably the top rendition of Avatar we have had.
